Dear church family:

I want to encourage you today:

God has been faithful, good, and merciful.

God is faithful, good, and merciful.

God will be faithful, good, and merciful.

In light of the Harris County mandate to stay-at-home (effective March 24, 2020, at 11:59 PM), I want to give you an update on a few items:

I urge you to please do everything you can to follow the “Stay Home Work Safe” order and the recommended best practices to keep you and your family safe. It is critical that we all do our part to help slow the spread of this virus.

Church office

Beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the church offices will temporarily close. Our staff and I will work from home as we continue to develop and deliver ministry to you in this rapidly changing environment.

Tithe & offerings

I am grateful for your faithfulness in returning your tithe and giving your offerings. Due to the stay-at-home order, the option of dropping them off at the church is no longer available. You can remit your tithe and offerings by mail or online through our website – see below:

As we struggle to put into words what we are experiencing, His mercies are new every morning and His grace is sufficient to see us through! I am praying Psalm 61:1-4 over you and your family:

O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings!

I also want to encourage you to pray. There are many needs, but we must pray urgently for:

  • President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and those who are advising them.
  • Governor Abbot and those advising him.
  • Our respective mayors, city and county leaders.
  • First responders, medical personnel, and hospital staff.
  • Food supply companies and personnel.
  • Those affected and suffering around the world as a result of this pandemic.

Let’s also pray that the Church (locally and around the world) would thrive and be a voice of hope. Let’s agree that this crisis will produce a great spiritual awakening resulting in many coming into the Kingdom. To God be the glory!

Tammy and I love you, miss you, and we are praying over you and your family daily. We look forward to when we can all be back together again! What a great celebration that will be!
